From Flowers is a series of photographs which connects West yorkshire 1989 to West Cornwall 2024

“you turned us to stone”

these photographs look at the connection between the queer body and stone. The images of the person in the field in the 80s almost looks like a standing stone, their body othered and becoming armour. The standing stones of the merry maidens 2026 a stone circle of women who were turned to stone for dancing. The merry maidens a stone circle in Lamorna West Cornwall which was home to queer artists Marlow Moss and Gluck

Recently exhibited in The Land will call you home Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, placing yourself within the work gave you a feeling of being within the landscapes and the different time periods.
